Dr. Benedict Ciszek is excited to join Pioneer Concierge Medicine as of May 2024. After working for 16 years as part of Ascension Resurrection Hospital, he decided it was time for a change.
Dr. Ciszek is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician who is dedicated to treating the needs of his patients by answering all questions and managing both acute and chronic medical conditions. He is an attentive and interested provider who has been serving his patients in the Chicagoland area for many years. As part of Pioneer Concierge Medicine, he will now have ample time to address all of his patients’ issues in and out of the office.
Dr. Ciszek grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and attended Prospect High School. He then went on to obtain his Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Physics-in-Medicine at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He completed his Doctor of Medicine Degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Afterwards, he completed his Family Medicine Residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, followed by a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of California-San Diego.
In his spare time, Dr. Ciszek enjoys spending time with his wife Edyta, their three children, and their Golden Doodle, Sophie. He enjoys playing volleyball and is an active participant in supporting his kids in soccer, volleyball, and cheerleading endeavors.
Dr. Ciszek is actively involved in the Polish community in Chicago. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the Copernicus Center, in addition to volunteering as the team physician for AAC Eagles Soccer Club.
